Welcome to the Collaboratory Program at At Work On Purpose.
This form confirms the commitment of being part of our Collaboratory program.

Collaboratory Code of Conduct

  • I understand that the Collaboratory community is filled with many different kinds of Christians that believe in may different things.

  • I understand that—while I may disagree with other members—I am to be respectful and loving at all costs.

  • I understand that—if I am disrespectful towards others—I will be asked to apologize to the party(s) by which I have been disrespectful to.

  • I understand that the purpose of the Collaboratory is not to promote or convert people to a specific theological disposition, but to develop young professionals in their faith, leadership, and network.

    • I understand that if I wish to ‘debate’ or ‘discuss’ the beliefs of another member, this is to happen outside of the Collaboratory experience.

Member Participation:

  • I will be present and on time for at least 75% of the meetings. If I miss a meeting, I understand that I will still be charged for membership that month.

  • I agree to keep Collaboratory discussions confidential, and accept that violating confidentiality could end my membership.

  • I will offer counsel to Collaboratory members in a prayerful spirit of truth and love. I will receive godly counsel without taking offense to the advice I am given, even when I do not agree with it. I understand that any counsel I give or receive in the Collaboratory group experience is not offered as professional or legal advice, and therefore I agree to hold harmless At Work on Purpose, its employees, agents, representatives, members or affiliates from any damages or loss as a result.

  • I will come to meetings prepared for any assignments, presentations or other commitments for which I am responsible.

Faith Statement:

  • We believe that there is one God, fulfilling three roles: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that the Bible is God’s written revelation to humanity, and that it is verbally inspired, authoritative and without error in the original manuscripts.

  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven, present ministry or intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory.

  • We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that he performs the miracle of the new birth in unbelievers and indwells believers, enabling them to live godly lives.

  • We believe humanity was created in the image of God, but because of sin, was alienated from God. Only through faith, trusting in Christ alone for salvation, which was made possible by His death and resurrection, can that alienation be removed.
